Maths Websites

Maths Week 2007 is upon us and so far it has been a lot of fun. As well as our normal maths lessons we are beginning each day by playing Survivor 2007 (a game where groups race each other to be the first to solve a series of mathematical puzzles) and we end the day playing on-line maths activities. What's Going On?

This blog has been on the 'to-do list' for quite some time, so apologies for not posting it sooner. Without further ado, here is a brief overview of the major units of work that Rm 5 will be focusing on over the rest of the term.

English:
Persuasive speech
Poetry
Book Circles.

Maths:
Statistics
Fractions, Percentages and Ratio
Algebra.

Maori:
Time and Place.

Inquiry:
Environmental Science
The Local Area.

PE:
Gymnastics
Skipping.

I.C.T:
Typing.

Art:
Landscape.

Science:
Wednesday Wonderful Science Focus (short taster lessons in Science)
Inquiry.
